Under his divine inspiration and guidance, Parmarth Niketan has blossomed into a sanctuary known across the globe as one filled with divine grace, beauty, serenity and bliss. He is also Founder and chair of India Heritage Research Foundation (IHRF), an international, non-profit, humanitarian foundation. IHRF is compiling the first encyclopaedia of Hinduism in history. Priti Raichura, chair of HYUK Leicester said, “We are delighted to welcome such a highly respected saint to Leicester to spread the message of Sanatan Dharma”.

“Swamiji’s discourses are very educational and inspiring, and will cater for the youth by speaking in English. Swamiji is much loved by the Hindu community, especially the youth.”

Hindu Youth UK has also introduced a new dimension to their seminars, the “Kids Zone”. Last month saw the very successful ‘Hanuman’s Tail on Fire’ show. Hindu Youth UK Kids Zone will be hosting a Janmashtami special on ‘Krishna and Kalia’.

The seminar will include a cartoon show on ‘Krishna and Kalia’ followed by a Q&A session. There will also be a raas and garba competition for children to get into the festive mood for Janmashtmi.

The kids’ seminars are diverse and exciting in their content, appealing to young children as well as adults. Through watching videos, having Q&A sessions and playing games, children not only learn about their own culture, but also get to make new friends. The previous Kids Zone seminar attracted in excess of 300 under twelves as well as their parents. The programme was enjoyed throughout.

Sheetal Patel, one of the organisers said, “The children love the cartoons as they are humorous and yet they also deliver morals and messages, which is an entertaining way of learning about our faith.”

Swamiji’s discourse is on the 21st of August, at Kapital building on belgrave gate near CD Bramall Ford dealership. It will start at 4pm and will come to an end at 7pm, followed by a meal. The ‘Krishna and Kalia’ seminar takes place at Shree Sanatan Mandir, Weymouth Street, on Saturday 20th of August, at 5pm, and will continue for approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes.

The event aims to raise awareness and provide an informative insight into the multifaceted aspects of Hindu culture.
