PR & Communications Specialists
The HFB is seeking PR and communications professionals to join them to bring together all communications and marketing activity. Reporting in to the Chair of the Media Committee you will help deliver and support the communications strategy
The Role
The ideal candidate will be responsible for:
- The quality of all publications and communications across the organisation
- Promoting a consistent brand message, raising the profile of the HFB externally, internally and engaging key target audiences. The role will also involve working with national and regional community groups to produce communications for specific projects and be proactive in setting up communication channels.
- Helping to manage and develop the content across a number of communications channels such as the website, newsletters and management updates.
You
The ideal candidate will have an understanding of the language and terminology of the digital and new media environment.
Events and content management experience is desirable as is an understanding of marketing communications.
You will ideally have experience or a genuine interest in communications, pr or marketing.
Naturally you will have strong all round communications skill, writing and presenting at all levels.
The role will also require you to draft, manage approval process, issue press releases. You will proactively monitor publications, newswires, community websites and suggest new routes to press.
